Introducing an all-new selector switch for KWA AEG's! This is a redesigned metal selector switch that is intended to replace the stock plastic KWA switches for a traditional AR-15/M16 style switch. It offers an improved lower-profile tactile feel and positive indexing. The selector cog is CNC machined from steel and is designed to interface with a genuine modified AR-15 selector switch.
The Enhanced KWA Selector Switch fits all current generation KWA AEG rifles with an ambidextrous selector switch and Gen 2 or 3 style selector plates (see image). Check compatibility list below.
Please note: due to the difficulty of installation and the precise fit of parts and required removal of the gearbox, etc. professional installation is highly recommended. In some cases it is also necessary to replace the ambidextrous selector axle with the current generation 1-piece design as older 2-piece versions are prone to cracking at the joining screw. The selector axle hole must be free of excess paint or surface buildup and may require minor fitting due to tolerances.
Important! Genuine Loctite 638 High Strength Retaining Compound for press fit applications is required for installation of the selector cogs. This is not to be confused with common blue or red formula Loctite. Use genuine Loctite brand only - generic substitutions will not work.
Proper cure time should be a full 24 hours before attempting to manipulate the selectors. If correctly done, the only way to remove the selector cog will be through application of heat.
Designed and manufactured in Italy.

Long term review
I've been using two sets of these selectors for about 2 years now and absolutely adore them. The first set I attempted to install myself and admittedly failed to do properly. I also bodged up the install by trying to file the inside of the cog a little wider since I wasn't able to press it on myself. This was a mistake because they are supposed to be a very tight and precision fit. Tactical Parts offered to do the install themselves at no cost and even replaced the cogs I fudged up. Suffice it to say, when they say to use genuine Loctite 638, you need to use genuine Loctite 638 and you need to let it properly cure before using. So far the selectors have been absolutely bombproof and have been ran on my primary two rifles between 2 - 4 games per month for about 2 years. They feel so much more tactile and positive than the gross plastic selectors that come on new KWA's.
TL/DR: If you get these, you will love them. But have Tactical Parts install them lol.
