More info

The QRF MOD.1 is the rifle every airsoft fan has been waiting for! The inspiration behind the Mod. 1 came from a hybrid of a SMG and a Pistol Caliber Carbine and was created by some world’s leading airsoft designers and engineers.

The adjustable FPS system allows you to go from CQB to field play with a 340-390 FPS adjustment range. Highlighted by a Switch Life Extender to minimize the wear and tear on trigger contacts, the AEG 2.5 provides Milsim and Field players the ultimate AEG rifle to outlast the competition. Additional new features include magazine cutoff compatibility combined with adjustable FPS for users to customize their KWA AEG rifle to their own specifications with the new VPS tool (included in every box).

My first KWA AEG

Long story short:

I was griping about my old AEG, and what a piece of crap it is, and a friend introduced me to Dan (Tactical Parts). We all talked long and hard about AEGs in general, good point and bad points, and what separates KWA from the rest of the pack. For whatever reason, the Mod.1 just looked **right** to me, and I was interested in going the SMG route, but didn't want an MP5 or MP7 or Uzi or whatever everyone else is running. Honestly, the Mod.1 just looks so much better than any of the MPs. I pulled the trigger (literally) on the purchase, along with a couple boxes of mags. The AEG came stock, except for the bucking. Dan put a G&G Green in it.

And up until TODAY, I've run this thing stock, and it has been as competitive as others' upgraded replicas. I've had only ONE issue with this AEG, and it was my fault (bad solder job when I converted it to deans, and it blew the fuse) Today I put an ASG Infinity 30K motor in it (all my replicas have an ASG Infinity of some flavor). I have run the Mod.1 as my main nearly every week since June 1st, and it was my backup which got run for half a game when I ran into a tree with my M1A1 and broke the mag and sheared off the feedlips of the hop chamber. And I will be running it tomorrow for our Alamo game. I have 18 airsoft replicas. The Mod.1 is my main.

I like this AEG so much I bought a second one. No, really... Tactical Parts helped me source it, and I purchased it through them as a grand raffle prize for SAASMaine's "OP: Damage Control", an event to raise funds and awareness of the Maine Veteran's Project which assists Maine Veterans to combat the 22 veteran suicides per day. I could have purchased any AEG out there, but I opted for this one.

The Mod.1 is quite possibly the finest AEG available. Especially at this price point.
