Absolutely AWESOME Dan!!!!!!
After experiencing Tactical Parts' outstanding customer service, it's not a surprise that owner, Dan Wheldon, is known throughout the industry as the world's premiere builder/modifier of KWA airsoft rifles. Unfortunately, the rifle I ordered from Dan had issues from the beginning, requiring we send it back for warranty work --- twice. Dan was pleasant, helpful, and truly apologetic thru the entire process. His work is impeccable and he stands behind it with a pride rarely seen in our modern age of large corporations. It's not a cliché when I say that Dan's customer service is second to none. I assure you this; the next airsoft rifle I purchase will be from Tactical Parts. Thanks a million Dan!

Another home run for KWA, and Grand Slam for Tactical Parts.
One of my players wanted this AEG. Actually, *I* want this AEG too. However, supply issues/back orders/distributors/whatever weren't making it happen.
However, Dan, being the sole best customer support in the industry, said "hey, I have the VM4A1 in stock and can just change the buffer tube and put the ERG system in it." It is literally the same exact AEG. After some back and forth with my player, who said "let's do it", I looked through my own inventory and had the ERG weight from one of my personal AEGs from where I upgraded it to the Ulysses Recoil Kit, so all Dan had to do was change out the buffer tube. Win win. Also, I HIGHLY recommend the Ulysses.
The AEG arrived on time and I popped the stock ERG weight into it with an Eagle6 spring that I had laying around. I was excited to see how much of a beast this thing is.
Well, I was getting good range with it (using .32s), but damn, the BBs were taking forever to get to their destination. Weird. So I chrono'd it and my heart absolutely sunk when I saw it spit out "0.86j", a full joule less than my field limit. Okay, no problem, probably an airseal issue. Easy fix and I don't have to bug Dan with it, because let's face it.. the dude is *busy*, which is awesome.
I didn't feel like cracking open the gearbox just yet, so I re-sat the bucking, fiddled with the hop chamber, checked that the nozzle wasn't loose (broken tappets happen). Everything outside the gearbox looked good, so I decided that I'd dig into it after lunch. But, I also thought it would be a good idea to email Dan to let him know that the AEG had arrived in good condition, but damn, this lack of power.
Dan, of course said "well, the Ulysses is longer than the stock ERG, so the Eagle6 spring is too short."
Seriously, does this guy know everything? I think he does.
I slapped a different non-linear spring into it (yes, it changes the feel of the recoil), and YEAH BABY. Doubled the initial power. I rifled through my spring collection and finally found the original stock spring from my T-10 and installed that with some spacers, and this thing is ready to go.
Now I really can't wait to get my own. Ugh.
Thanks for being awesome, Dan.
