Improved Recoil Pin for KWA ERG

Broken recoil weight pins can fragment and begin to back out of the recoil weight, thereby severely scouring the interior of the buffer tube and generating a lot of metal dust that contaminates the gearbox and ruins your air seal. Left unattended, this can eventually auger out the holes on the recoil weight itself, which leads to costly replacement of the entire assembly.

These improved coil pins for the KWA ERG recoil weight are substantially stronger than the stock roll pin that is outfitted from the factory. Made from 1095 carbon steel, these heavy duty pins are 30% stronger than conventional spring steel coil pins and 15% stronger than solid pins.

Unlike a conventional roll pin which compresses into an oval shape when it's squeezed, coil pins compress around their entire circumference, remain circular, and exert pressure against the entire surface of the mounting hole. They absorb shock and vibration better than roll pins. 

This pin replaces the large pin on the largest section of the brass recoil weight, which is the pin that most commonly shears and breaks.
