Take your KWA rifle to the next level with the Tactical Parts Tier 1 upgrade package!
The Tier 1 upgrade is based on the culmination of years of upgrading hundreds of KWA RM4's and finding the best parts selections available for long term durability and performance. As a stock rifle, the KWA is a solid contender and offers the best-in-class recoil experience, but it is lacking in certain areas. Like many factory guns, there is no such thing as AOE correction (Angle Of Engagement) of the piston, which is the most common source of piston failure. As well, the thin rubber pad on the backface of the cylinder head can break free and cause a piston jam. The heavy non-ported piston head is a tough design, but lacking ports, it isn't ideal for maintaining a good air seal. The infamous KWA air nozzle is also the primary source for FPS loss in these guns, as it lacks an o-ring and can have issues sealing with some aftermarket buckings. While the motor has been slightly upgraded on the newer generation rifles, it is still a basic traditional ferrous magnet type and is weak in light of aftermarket Neomydium motors.
My goal with the Tier 1 package is to address all of these faults and tap the full potential of the system while keeping the good and avoiding uneeded expenses on parts that provide no substantive benefit.
Reducing FPS variance between shots and eliminating air loss ultimately helps to improve accuracy which is why every Tier 1 upgrade is outfitted with improved compression parts, addressing both FPS consistency, air seal and durability. The beating heart of the system - the piston - is upgraded with the legendary CYMA FMR and Lonex POM piston head.
One of the chief complaints of many KWA users is the slow trigger response. An aftermarket Neodymium style motor does the heavy lifting here and provides a noticeable felt increase in Rate-Of-Fire and much improved trigger response. A Krytac CMC Licensed flat trigger offers a slightly reduced length-of-pull.
A basic hardwired MOSFET installation, such as the Gate NaonoASR, has the benefit of protecting your trigger contacts from arcing and burnout. It also slightly helps increase the trigger response time through improved electrical efficiency. More advanced units, such as the Gate WARFET have the benefit of programmable fire modes such as 3-round burst, semi-auto lock, Active Braking, Pre-Cocking, and more. The NanoASR is a no-frills compact MOSFET and takes up minimal space, whereas the WARFET will require a larger stock such as the PTS EPS or a Crane style stock. The NanoASR can be upgraded to the WARFET at any time with its simple and easy plug-and-play ability. With any MOSFET installation, I completely re-wire the gun with low-resistance 16AWG Alphawire EcoWire, which is some of the best wiring available for Airsoft guns.
For users desiring the cutting edge, a Gate TITAN MOSFET can be installed in conjunction with an AEG 2.5/3.0+ gearbox shell. The Gate TITAN offers a myriad of features and unparalleled efficiency and trigger response when setup accordingly, and replaces all of the mechanical trigger switch components for precision optical sensors. With any TITAN installation, this is paired with a MAXX CNC tuneable flat trigger to take full advantage of the TITAN's trigger sensitivity adjustement. The MAXX trigger allows the end user to set the precise pull distance they desire as well as controlling the amount of overtravel past the firing point. For users who like to "flutter" or "spam" the trigger, this is an ideal setup. It should be noted that the TITAN installation requires a gearbox shell replacement and removes the last round cutoff feature.
As a final improvement, consider adding in a Lambda One 6.01 stainless steel inner barrel and R-Hop installation for the final word in accuracy. Lambda barrels are made in Japan to exacting tolerances using cold forged SUS304 stainless steel. R-Hopping is by far the best thing presently going for obtaining increased range and accuracy and excels with heavyweight BB's.
The Tier 1 upgrade is compatible with the following models:
| How it Works in 3 Easy Steps -
|
Tier 1 Standard Upgrade - $389
| Tier 1 Ultimate Upgrade - $599
| Tier 1 Ultimate TITAN Upgrade - $749

Dan The Man
As someone who was looking for something new in airsoft, I was definitely interested in the KWA RM4 platform when I saw it. I have done my own upgrades for several years however, I quickly discovered I was unfamiliar with the RM4 system, and what parts would best suit my needs. Upon doing research for upgrades I found Tactical Parts. I am now the proud owner of two KWA RM4 rifles built by the owner of Tactical Parts, Dan, using the tier 1 upgrade package. One rifle I purchased pre-upgraded straight from the Tactical Parts site, the other I shipped to Dan to have upgraded. Dan kept in contact with me and asked questions regarding what I wanted installed in my gun to ensure that I got exactly what I wanted. When I received my rifle that I shipped in for upgrades (a mk18 style replica) I had found that Dan even went as far as to add a mock gas block. I was absolutely blown away that he did this without me asking. Dan's attention to detail, and the performance of his builds speak for themselves. I have recommended that all my friends with RM4s send them to Dan for upgrades. If you are looking at upgrading your RM4, Dan's work is absolutely phenomenal and his customer service is second to none. Look no further than Tactical Parts.
AWESOME UPGRADES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Dan is an amazing tech to work with on the KWA ERG platform!
I'd like to say that I've went to a previous local tech at a local arena. I sent my second hand KWA ERG to them and they couldn't do anything to it and I had to wait months! Upon finding this website and reading the reviews I didn't hesitate to look for Dan and his awesome tech services. I sent off my rifle within the following week and recieved it fairly quickly with all of the upgrades. The back and forth communication is awesome and I totally recommend giving Dan a shout if you need an ERG or anything else worked on. My rifle is now shooting great and reliably!
TLDR: Dan is an awesome guy and he will communicate to you throughout the process of repairing or upgrading your gun. It was a pleasure talking with him and there is no other tech I would send my AEGS to than him for any type of service!
