The Shōto PDW was envisioned as an ultra-compact CQB-ready rendition of the KWA QRF MOD 1 that has enough bite and range to also be used in field conditions.
The front end features a custom-fitted 4" M-LOK compatible rail system with a modifed mock gas piston system to complete the aesthetic and a custom mini sound amplifier that delivers a concussive pop that will send your foes scurrying. A short front end also needs a short stock, which is why the Shōto is rocking a minimalist setup in this department. A Phase 5 Tactical buffer tube buttplate adds shooting stability and grip on your shoulder while maintaining the compact dimensions of the gun.
At the heart of this gun is a Gate TITAN II Electronic Trigger Unit which offers unparalleled customization and user-configurable options such as adjustable trigger sensitivity, pre-cocking, active braking and more! Complimenting the TITAN is the MAXX tuneable flat trigger which allows for the end-user to fine tune the amount of overtravel to their individual preferences. An upgraded Warhead 30K brushless motor rounds out the drivetrain and provides excellent ROF and trigger response with unparalled low amp draw and efficiency. With brushless motor technology, you can comfortably spam the trigger all day long without heating up the grip or the battery.
lastly, the barrel has been upgraded to a Lambda One 6.01 tightbore barrel, which is cold forged from SUS304 stainless steel to within 1 micron of straightness. Exclusive from Black Swan Dynamics is a custom fitted MAXX CNC rotary hop up chamber and an R-Hop installation, which facilitates impressive accuracy and range gains over the stock configuration. Whether you want to hit the field or the CQB arena, the Shōto PDW will do it all!
