The Daishō is a Japanese term for a matched pair of Japanese swords worn by the samurai in feudal Japan. The etymology of daisho is formed from two words: daitō meaning long sword, and shōtō, meaning short sword = daishō. Thusly, Black Swan Dynamics newest flagship rifle combines the longer form of the Katana-V and C model with the compact nature of our Shōto PDW; sacrficing nothing in range, yet remaining lithe and capable of compressing into smaller spaces.
Based around the latest revision of the legendary Tier 1 Upgrade for the KWA platform, the Daishō-V uses KWA's Variable Performance System to allow for broad flexibility with field limits, hence the "V" appended to its namesake. The VPS system is a quick-change spring guide that also feaures an adjustable design to allow the end user to fine-tune their desired FPS output, creating a rifle that can be competitive both on the field and the CQB arena.
Internally, the Daishō-V is built around the Gate TITAN II Electronic Trigger Unit and Warhead 30K brushless motor, paired to 13:1 gears and a MAXX CNC tuneable trigger for unrivaled response and efficiency. Clocking in at 27 RPS with an 11.1v LiPo, the Daishō is built for speed and resposiveness.
Through careful combination of tappet tuning, nozzle selection, hopup and the MAXX CNC rotary hopup chamer paired to Lambda SUS304 stainless steel barrels, the Daishō-V punches well above its weight in the range and accuracy department.
The Daishō-V represents the pinnacle of precision and adaptability in modern airsoft weaponry, drawing inspiration from the storied tradition of the Japanese daishō and seamlessly blending elements from our previous custom builds.
